After several rumors, the sale of Sporting Cristal finally became a reality and this Thursday the new owner of the club will be announced, who, among other things, must respect the name of the institution for a period of 10 years.

The board of Backus-AB InBev closed the sale of the shares of the Rimense team with Innova Sports, a group made up of people close to football such as Joel Raffo, Carlos 'Chalaquita' Gonzales and Enrique de la Piedra, who also make up the player representation company Agref, which includes, among other players, Renato Tapia from Feyenoord of Holland.
The price of the celeste club ranged from 7 to 12 million dollars. Likewise, one of the agreements had to be to commit to maintaining the organizational philosophy of Sporting Cristal and not to modify the traditional aspects (shirt color, team name, etc.)
The official announcement will be made this Thursday, September 19th after the meeting of the board of Backus-AB InBev and the current leadership of the club.
