A few weeks ago, during the first LaLiga match, images were shown on social media alluding to a supposed "goal celebration" by the second of the Messi's in favor of Real Betis. This was completely false.

"Even when they said he was celebrating Betis's goal, it was a lie. It was one of our plays that hit the back of the net and it was believed to be a goal. He celebrated the goal but when he saw it, he also complained saying that he wasn't a fan of Betis, but of Barça," explained Lionel.

"He is starting to understand more and more what it means to lose, what it means to me or to the team. Plus, they don't like to lose at anything. They are very competitive," he added.

Messi managed to open up completely and even revealed details about his relationship with Antonela. "Yes, she means everything to me. Having her by my side simplifies many things for me. We have known each other for a long time, she knows me perfectly. She knows how to approach me in every moment, especially in the bad ones. She is a person who practically doesn't have bad days, who is always in a good mood. She is a spectacular partner."
