"There is always talk of revolution, but in a team like Real Madrid, where everyone wants to be and not everyone wants to leave, it's not easy. Players like Hazard, Militao, Mendy have come to help us, and I think it's to complement a great squad," Carvajal said in an interview with the radio program El Partidazo of the COPE network.
Referring to the start of the Real Madrid season, Carvajal commented: "People may think 'three official matches and two draws.' It seems that the ghosts of last year are coming back, but the feeling from inside is not bad. It is true that we need to be more decisive in both offensive and defensive areas, but we will continue to do important things."
Neymar and Pogba
Regarding the possible signing of Brazilian Neymar, the right-back said: "You saw that one day he was going to Barcelona, another day he was coming with us, another day he was staying... We asked the Brazilians and they told us that they didn't know what was going to happen, that it was in doubt... He is a Top 5 or Top 3 player. A player like him is welcome in any team."
He also referred to the Frenchman Paul Pogba from Manchester United: "Pogba was also mentioned quite a lot. The transfer deadlines close at different times every day, and in the end, he did not come. We are who we are, and we cannot think about someone who is not with us."

Carvajal also had words for Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who was transferred to Paris Saint-Germain: "Keylor was my locker room mate, I have him next to me. I talk to him a lot, and he was a player who wanted to play, have minutes, and in the end, I think it was the best option for him."
When asked which team has made the better signings, Barcelona or Real Madrid, he said: "Time will tell who has reinforced better."
