CA Osasuna 2 - 2 FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona faced a tough away game at El Sadar, a place where it's always difficult to get something positive. Nevertheless, the culé squad arrived with boosted morale after their great performance last week at Camp Nou against Real Betis. The start of the match would be excellent for CA Osasuna, who took advantage of a magnificent delivery from the right side to beat Marc-André ter Stegen with a sensational strike (1-0).

Barça had to react, a squad that has been drawn in a tough group in the Champions League with Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan (not to mention Slavia Prague). The reigning champions of LaLiga Santander had a very limited reaction during the first half, except for Carles Pérez who kept moving and offering himself all over the field. Despite this, Ernesto Valverde's players were unable to even generate a chance that troubled Rubén Martínez's goal (the culés didn't have any shots on target).

Jordi Alba tried his luck with a shot with his right foot, but it went wide. The left-back himself had previously attacked through that offensive flank, although Aridane Hernández repelled the attempt by the former Valencia CF player. After the break, Valverde made a change by taking Nélson Semedo off the field to give way to the new young talent from the Barça academy: Ansu Fati. Therefore, Sergi Roberto would once again play as a right-back.

It would be, precisely, Ansu Fati who leveled the score 5 minutes into the second half (1-1). After a precise cross from Carles Pérez, the Guinean player executed a precise header that Rubén couldn't prevent from ending up in the back of the net. The right-winger, who scored a goal against Real Betis, tested the goalkeeper of the reds, who had to make an effort to save that shot.

Barça would turn the tables through Arthur Melo (1-2), who had entered the field replacing Rafinha Alcántara. Rafinha, despite being one of the best players in the early stages of the season, had a very discreet performance in Pamplona. The Brazilian midfielder solved perfectly inside the area, thanks to a shot across the goal that beat Rubén. One of the changes that Jagoba Arrasate would make was Juan Villar, a true globetrotter in recent years in our country.

The player from Huelva, shortly after stepping onto the pitch, forced Ter Stegen to make a remarkable save with a stretch worthy of being photographed. However, Gerard Piqué made an uncharacteristic mistake for a center-back of his caliber, which resulted in a penalty in favor of Osasuna with less than a quarter of an hour left to finish the battle. Roberto Torres would be responsible for taking the responsibility from the spot, completely fooling the German goalkeeper and bringing balance back to the scoreboard (2-2).

Barça had a clear chance before the end of the match. Arthur made a magnificent deep pass, finding Carles Pérez who was left one-on-one with Rubén. The Barça academy player had Antoine Griezmann by his side, but chose to solve it on his own and, unfortunately for his interests, he was unable to put the Blaugrana team ahead on the scoreboard again. The match ended in a draw at El Sadar between Osasuna and FC Barcelona, and it's worth noting that the visitors still haven't secured a victory away from home.
