In Manchester United they don't have a fixed forward after the departure of Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan in the transfer market. Although it is true that the Belgian striker left €65 million to the coffers of Old Trafford, the English team has not yet found a replacement. However, they already have one in sight who could soon become a new 'red devil'.
It happens that Team Talk reports this Tuesday that Fernando Llorente has entered the plans of Manchester United. The Spanish forward, who is also an international player for his national team, currently has no club after Tottenham did not renew his contract.
The acquisition of Llorente would be free for United and the rules allow any Premier League club to sign a player, as long as he is not under contract with any other team. The negotiations would start in the next few days.
However, there are other non-English teams interested in having the services of the former Athletic Club de Bilbao player. Napoli and Inter have also set their sights on him.
On the other hand, Manchester United is already preparing for their third game of the Premier League. After defeating Chelsea and drawing with Wolverhampton, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's team will face Crystal Palace this weekend.
