The scare came for Real Madrid in the last play of the first half. Odriozola lost the ball and committed a possible penalty on Aspas, but Estrada Fernández let it continue and Brais Méndez beat Courtois. The Catalan referee allowed the goal, but VAR disallowed it for Aspas' offside.
