Donny van de Beek, player of Ajax wanted by Real Madrid, said on Tuesday that there is a good chance he will stay at the Dutch club this season.

"We have to wait and see what happens. There is a good chance that I will stay at Ajax," the player commented to Dutch television 'Ziggo Sport' after the match between the Amsterdam club and PAOK from Greece (3-2, 5-4 aggregate result), corresponding to the second leg of the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
"There is nothing definitive. I hope things are clarified soon because it will be good for me and everyone," Van de Beek added.
When asked about Real Madrid, he said that "it is a fantastic club, but Ajax is also one."
The technical director of Ajax, Marc Overmars, said before the match that he believes Van de Beek "will stay at Ajax" and expressed his hope that the future of the midfielder "will be clarified soon". (EFE)
