The Croatian forward of Inter Milan, Ivan Perisic, will play on loan for one season at Bayern Munich, who are desperately seeking wingers to fill the gaps left by Robben and Ribéry, German media reported on Sunday.
The current Bundesliga champions have been tracking Leroy Sané for a long time, but the case seems to have closed this week due to the serious injury of the Manchester City player, who will undergo knee surgery and will be sidelined for several months.
"The arrival of Ivan Perisic is decided," the Munich newspaper Tz states on the internet. "He will undergo a medical examination next week," it states.
"The Munich team is acquiring the Croatian World Cup runner-up on loan for one year," adds Bild. "Price: up to five million euros," the newspaper details.
At 30 years old, Perisic played in the Bundesliga between 2011 and 2015, for Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg. AFP
