Neymar is getting closer to returning to Barcelona in this transfer window. According to Spanish newspaper 'Sport', after a series of disputes with the Brazilian, PSG has finally agreed to sit down and talk with the Catalan club to reach an agreement and put an end to the 'Culebrón' of this summer transfer window.
As mentioned by the source, PSG and Barcelona are negotiating a loan with an option to buy in the following season. Neymar's stance of not speaking to Sporting Director Leonardo has been crucial for the Parisian club to be forced to consider the proposal from the Blaugrana.
The offers made by Barcelona at the beginning have not changed. They will not pay the 300 million euros that PSG is asking for, so the options left on the table were a player exchange and a one-season loan. Finally, the second alternative has been chosen by both parties.
Since Neymar is only thinking about Barcelona, PSG has been forced to accept the conditions of the Culés. Obviously, it would have been better for the French to collect some millions out of the 300 million they were asking for, but the Brazilian complicated everything from the beginning.
Neymar's Sacrifice
Even though he is a world-class player, Neymar will not enjoy the same economic benefits in Barcelona as he does in PSG. At Camp Nou, they have already warned him that he will not earn the 40 million euros that he was being paid in France. He has to lower his salary and the Brazilian has accepted it in order to play again with Messi.
"The player's entourage is already in Paris waiting for everything to be ready as soon as possible. PSG wanted to resolve it before August 11th and everything is going according to plan," reports 'Sport' newspaper about Neymar's long-awaited return to Barcelona.
