Argentina's Lions prevailed with goals from Leandro Tolini (3' and 5'), Martin Ferreiro (8'), Lucas Martinez (23'), and Lucas Vila (29'). Chile's goal was scored by Franco Becerra (35'). In the next match, on Thursday, August 1 (6:00 p.m. Argentina time), the Lions will face Trinidad and Tobago, while Chile will play against Cuba (2:00 p.m. local time).
