Zidane refused to talk about a possible signing for Pogba:

Once again, Zinedine Zidane refused to answer a question associated with a possible transfer of Paul Pogba to Real Madrid.

Once again, Zinedine Zidane refused to answer a question associated with a possible transfer of Paul Pogba to Real Madrid.

The French coach of Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, offered his first press conference of the preseason, prior to the match that the team will play tomorrow, Saturday, at NRG Stadium in Houston, against Bayern Munich. He said he is very happy with the work done by everyone.

Before answering the questions from the journalists, Zinedine Zidane wanted to thank for the love and support he had received after the death of his brother.

"I wanted to thank everyone for the messages of support I have received these days for my brother and especially to people who are around me and it was important" Zinedine Zidane began the press conference.

He immediately began to assess the first 10 days of the preseason, which have covered in Montreal (Canada), and he was very happy.

"I am happy because we have worked very well and we have come for that, I congratulate my players and now I am happy to start the matches that is what we want".

But that did not prevent the next question being dedicated to the possibility of French player Paul Pogba joining Real Madrid.

"Pogba? We know what we want; we are working on it," Zidane valued. "Until the 31st we can make changes, exits and also players can come".

When he was asked if Paul Pogba was the missing piece for the team to be complete, the French coach was diplomatic again and pointed out that "I will not get into that. There are some things that must be respected".

However, he recognized that within the team there is a plan to get good players and the times to consider options for signing any player must be respected.

"We have a plan with the club and we will see what happens. But today we are focused on tomorrow's match. What happens afterwards will be seen. You know many things, but we will see. Many things can happen", reiterated the French coach, who did not want to specify anything when asked if Pogba was a priority. "I seem silly because I always answer the same thing, the important thing is that with the club we know what we want to do and we are working on it".
