Marvel's Avengers confirmed last week its presence at San Diego's Comic-Con (which is taking place these days, from July 18 to 21) and also assured that it would be at this event where they would show the public their first gameplay.
After said announcement, Square Enix didn't take long to clarify that the gameplay would be only for the attendees of the fair and that it wouldn't be shared with others until the week of August 26 to 30. Therefore, as we said, it was expected that some spectator would skip this decision and leak the video, as it has happened.
For a few hours now, over YouTube there are more than six minutes of gameplay of the game focused mainly on the characters of Iron Man and Thor. A complete preview of the combat system, the method to levitate and move, and the chase phases starring Tony Stark. Here you can watch it:
These first minutes of gameplay allow us to complete everything we know about Marvel's Avengers, which will feature an original story within the Marvel universe where Captain America has died in combat and the Avengers are composed of Black Widow, Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor. The title, in third person, will allow us to play as these five characters and will have a campaign mode and a multiplayer mode.
Marvel Avengers will be available on PC, Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 15, 2019.
