PlayStation has already confirmed that it is working on the new console PS5. With this device, the old PS3 will definitively be dismissed and a new generation will begin that will use solid-state storage (SSD) to improve game loading.
The popular YouTuber Austin Evans, dedicated to PC components, shared a video in which he recreates the power of the PlayStation 5 on his test bench. Sony has confirmed that they will work with AMD for the hardware components. Cesar Michilerio, AMD representative in Peru, commented to this newspaper that they will use the ZEN architecture for processors and will use NAVI for graphics. In addition, some games will reach a resolution of 8K, and most console titles will be above 60 fps.
For this reason, the YouTuber emulates the power of the console with a latest-generation Radeon RX 5700 graphics card and an AMD Ryzen 7 3700x processor. Perhaps in terms of processor it is far above, but PlayStation has promised to use eight processing cores.
