The Argentine press, almost in general, has shown their indignation at the performance of the referees and the VAR in the last two matches of their national team in the Copa América (against Brazil and Chile), so they did not miss the opportunity now that Brazil has won the title.

The TyC Sports channel, through its Facebook and Twitter accounts, "congratulated" the title won by the Brazilian national team in the Copa América, but they did it using a photo of the football player Robinho.

This ironic greeting generated controversy on social media, as well as a series of comments from cybernauts, in favor and against the Argentine position.

Brazil won their ninth Copa América title on Sunday, after defeating Peru (3-1) in the final played at the Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

The 'Canarinha' ended the match with 10 men due to the expulsion of Gabriel Jesus. In addition, the Chilean referee Roberto Tobar gave a penalty in favor of the home team after a disputed foul by Carlos Zambrano on Everton.

This only increased the disappointment of the Argentine press. The Chilean judge consulted the play with the VAR, but confirmed his decision and Brazil was able to seal the result.
