With Falcao García from the initial whistle, Colombia seeks to upset two-time champion Chile in the quarter-finals of the Copa America 2019. Chile's delay in reaching the Arena Corinthians in Sao Paulo forced a 20-minute postponement of the match.

AS Monaco forward and historic scorer for the Colombian national team, Falcao García, will take the place of Duván Zapata in the 1-0 victory against Qatar in the group stage.

In attack, Falcao García will be accompanied by James Rodríguez and Roger Martínez.

The team coached by Portuguese Carlos Queiroz will be the same one that defeated Argentina 2-0 in the Group B opener in Salvador de Bahia.

David Ospina will be in goal, with Yerry Mina and Davinson Sánchez in defense, and Juan Guillermo Cuadrado and Wilmar Barrios in midfield.

The Chileans arrived at the stadium around 19:20, just forty minutes before the start of the match, due to heavy traffic in Sao Paulo. The Colombian team also arrived later than expected.

At the time of the Chilean team's arrival at the Arena Corinthians, Colombia had been warming up for about ten minutes, only to suspend it due to the postponement of the start of the game. The Chilean team went out to warm up at 19:45, just fifteen minutes before the official match time.

The starting lineup for La Roja has not yet been confirmed.

The match was scheduled for 20:00 local time (23:00 GMT) and will now start at 20:20 (23:20 GMT), according to the Colombian and Chilean federations.
