Real Madrid Still Awaits Courtois Deal

For several weeks now, the press covering Real Madrid's current affairs has taken for granted that Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will end up landing at the Santiago Bernabeu before the end of the summer transfer window. However, days go by and the announcement of the agreement is not formalized.

This delay is because Courtois' club, Chelsea, has not yet managed to recruit a reliable replacement. Just yesterday, it was reported from England that British goalkeeper Jordan Pickford (Everton) was the great desire of the Blues, but the truth is that the new coach of the team, Maurizio Sarri, would also see the arrival of an old acquaintance, Pepe Reina, with good eyes.
