According to the newspaper L'Equipe, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has no intention of selling Adrien Rabiot to Barcelona, despite the midfielder not having renewed his contract yet.

The Adrien Rabiot case is the soap opera of the transfer market, or at least it seems to be considering the measure that PSG has taken. Just like with Marco Verrati last season, the Parisian club has no intentions of selling the midfielder, despite him privately expressing that he does not want to continue in Ligue 1 with a contract that does not match his desires.

According to L'Equipe newspaper, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has stated internally that he does not plan on selling Rabiot in the current transfer market, especially not to Barcelona. His disposition is for the player to renew with the team and continue being one of the shining talents of the club's academy.

The president of PSG has a good relationship with both the player and his surroundings. The Qatari values Rabiot highly, both as a player and as a person. He is one of his proteges, and although he does not manage Adrien's negotiations himself, he is closely involved in the discussions regarding his new contract.

On the other hand, some executives of PSG are starting to be annoyed with Rabiot's attitude. They understand that he could be using a strategy to try to force his move to Barcelona. The French club assures that this tactic will not work, as they are prepared to be tough, even leaving him on the bench.

In France, there is speculation that the player needs to take a step forward. Rabiot has always postponed conversations with the club, as they do not want to risk letting their player leave for free or for a very low price. On the other hand, the days go by and the suitors for Adrien - with Barcelona and Juventus leading the way - could look for other alternatives.
