Loris Karius prays for you. The German goalkeeper of Liverpool spoke out after receiving criticism on social media, after committing two new bloopers with the 'Red' team.
Liverpool lost 3-1 to Borussia Dortmund on Sunday in the International Champions Cup. Loris Karius was directly at fault for the third goal and also made a blooper when the score was 0-0, although the error did not result in a goal.
The criticism and mockery on social media (Facebook and Twitter) did not wait (the performance of Karius in the Champions League final is still remembered), so the German goalkeeper decided to post a message on his Instagram account.
"For those who are happy to see others fail or suffer. I'm sorry for you. Whatever happens in your life to contain so much anger and hate, I pray that it passes and good things come to you."
Several teammates of Loris Karius at Liverpool have shown their solidarity with their teammate. The Egyptian, Mohamed Salah, the main 'Red' star, publicly supported the goalkeeper: "Be strong Karius, it happens to the best players. Ignore those who hate you."
And before him, the Spanish Iker Casillas also spoke out on social media and asked for the criticism and attacks on Karius to stop. "He is also a person. Just like we all are," he said.
