Alisson Becker, a Brazilian goalkeeper who was part of the Brazilian national team in Russia 2018, left Roma in Italy to join Liverpool managed by Jürgen Klopp. The goalkeeper joined the 'Red' team for 75 million euros, becoming the most expensive goalkeeper in history.
With this transfer, Alisson broke the record previously held by Gianluigi Buffon, who was the most expensive goalkeeper. The current PSG goalkeeper had signed with Juventus in the 2001 season for 53 million euros.
Alisson Becker, who was chosen as one of the best goalkeepers of the 2017/2018 Champions League, will be a player for Liverpool until June 2024.
