After the news of the possible arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus became known, the ambitions of the Turin club to reinforce their squad for the 2018-2019 season are already starting to be considered, aiming for top names from the most important football leagues in Europe.

Before Cristiano's name came up, the signing of Edinson Cavani from PSG or the return of Álvaro Morata, who currently plays for Chelsea in the Premier League, were strong rumors; however, with the arrival of the Portuguese star, they would have been completely discarded.

It is also known that Juventus had serious intentions of acquiring the services of Serbian Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, however, Lazio was asking for around 150 million euros for him. In addition, Juventus likes Real Madrid's Croatian midfielder, Mario Kovacic, but the "white" club is asking for around 100 million euros for him.

Other midfielders who are enticing to the "bianconeri" team are Adrien Rabiot from PSG (FC Barcelona has shown interest in signing him), Dennis Praet from Sampdoria in Serie A, or Aleksandar Golovin from CSKA Moscow in the Russian league.

Defense is a sector that Massimiliano Allegri's team wants to reinforce, no matter what, with top players. As left backs, Filipe Luis from Atletico Madrid and Juan Bernat from Bayern Munich are strong contenders; while in the central defense, the signing of Uruguayan Diego Godin, Atletico Madrid's Stefan Savic, and Dutchman Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax have become almost a priority.

On the other hand, the European press has reported that in order to finance Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival in Turin, Juventus would be willing to sell Argentine Gonzalo Higuaín who, apparently, would have a pre-agreement with Chelsea in the Premier League.

It has been revealed that if he signs with the Italian club, Ronaldo will be paid an annual salary of 30 million euros.
