Captain Marvel will arrive in cinemas worldwide next year 2019, approximately in March. In it, we will see the beginning of Carol Danvers, her story, how she obtained her incredible powers, and why she is such an important character for the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War.
Now, one of the main actresses has posted a photo that could reveal a little bit about one of the main characters of the movie: Doctor Minerva. Gemma Chan, known for her role in Humans, thanks Marvel in a tweet for the opportunity to play that role.
The image itself doesn't reveal much, as it seems that Chan would be hiding Minn-Erva's costume under a hood. What is visible, however, is that she will have shorter hair than expected for the character and the characteristic chair of all film productions with the name "Captain Marvel," indicating that she is already filming her scenes.

Minn-Erva, better known as Doctor Minerva, is also a Kree, just like Carol Danvers. In the comics, she comes to Earth in search of Captain Mar-Vell, gaining the same powers as our protagonist. She would be the only major threat that Captain Marvel could face, although she has not been officially introduced as her villain... yet.
