Arjen Robben Renews Contract with Bayern Munich

The 34-year-old Dutch winger, Arjen Robben, has renewed his contract with Bayern Munich for one more season, as announced by the German club. In addition, Brazilian fullback Rafinha also extended his contract.

"Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidzic reached an agreement with Robben and Rafinha to extend their contracts until June 30, 2019," the German club stated in a press release.

"Both Robben and Rafinha have an important role in our plans for the upcoming season," said Salihamidzic.

Arjen Robben joined Bayern Munich in the 2009 season and has since won seven Bundesliga titles, four German Cups, and one Champions League title in 2013.
