The Atlético de Madrid plays one of the most relevant matches in its history on Wednesday in the final of the UEFA Europa League against Olympique de Marseille.
The illustrator Jesu Medina wanted to pay tribute to the red and white team and to Vicente Calderón with this video in which his drawings about the history of Atlético are interspersed.

HISTORY
The current anthem of the club was premiered in 1974 and is the work of musicians José Aguilar Granados and Ángel Curras García. It replaced the known as "Himno del Metropolitano", which was no longer used after the move to the Calderón. Now, the new Metropolitano is the home of Atleti but the anthem has not changed.
