And it is Christian Eriksen, according to the portal of the Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, who has not lost hope of playing for Barcelona in the 2018-19 season. In fact, it is stated that the skillful midfielder has asked his circle if there is real interest from Barça.
His contacts have mentioned to Eriksen that the Catalan club has seen in him a possible reinforcement to cover the announced departure of Andrés Iniesta. Although, the Catalan media mentions the opposite: that Philippe Coutinho has all the credentials to replace the popular 'Brain'.
Even at one point, the player's agent, Martin Schoots, stated that the Spanish club made an offer in the 2017 European summer to have the services of the Spurs' crack. Chelsea and AC Milan were also other interested parties.
According to the portal Transfermarkt, Christian Eriksen is valued at 70 million euros. When he left Ajax Amsterdam, he was worth 18 million.
