Arsene Wenger's future after Arsenal
Arsene Wenger has not had an easy time after announcing his departure from Arsenal at the end of the current season. His team could only manage a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid last Thursday in the first leg of the Europa League semifinals at Emirates Stadium, despite playing with one more player for over 75 minutes (Sime Vrsaljko received a red card).
In European lands, there is already talk about Arsene Wenger's future, and the Chinese Super League has shown interest in his services starting from the middle of this year. This is stated by the newspaper AS in its digital edition, mentioning that the French coach has rejected an offer of 27 million euros per season.
The aforementioned media outlet from the Spanish capital has not revealed the Chinese Super League team that hopes to have Wenger. What is surprising is that he has let go of such a large amount of money, especially considering that Arsenal pays him 9 million per season.
What the former AS Monaco coach has in mind is to try his luck with another Premier League team or go to the Spanish league. As a reminder, he has been in charge of Arsenal for 22 seasons (without winning the domestic league since the 2003-04 season).
On the other hand, Arsene Wenger's current team will face Manchester United this Sunday for a new Premier League match. There is no chance of securing a spot in the next Champions League.
