Neymar congratulates PSG teammates after winning the French championship title
Brazilian Neymar congratulated his PSG teammates on social media after the team defeated Monaco 7-1 and won the French championship title for the seventh time in history.
"I really wanted to be closer to you. Congratulations guys," Neymar wrote after the match, alongside a photo of the Paris team with the word "Champions".
The PSG player, whose transfer from Barcelona was the most expensive transaction in world football history to date (€222 million), is recovering in Rio de Janeiro from a fracture he suffered in his right foot's fifth metatarsal last February.
In an interview with TV Globo last Friday, the forward stated that the recovery process is progressing as expected by the doctors.
"It's been a month, but I'm progressing well, consolidating well," said the PSG footballer, who still moves around with crutches, as seen on the night of last Friday at a gala organized by the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) held in Sao Paulo.
Neymar is the main player for the Brazilian national team, which awaits his return to face the World Cup in Russia, where Canarinha will debut on June 17 against Switzerland, then face Costa Rica on the 22nd, and end the group stage against Serbia on the 27th of the same month.
