Samsung Galaxy S9: Trade In reduces the cost by up to 63%
The official sale of the Samsung Galaxy S9 has begun worldwide. Thousands of people are willing to pay the almost $699 that the regular version costs, or $799 for the Galaxy S9+. But the mobile company offers a purchasing option that will save you up to 63% of the cost.
The trade-in option is becoming increasingly popular in the mobile market, which currently starts to become saturated with peripherals. Samsung is expanding its Trade In program more and more in its specialized stores.
The company can recycle parts of old mobile phones to continue producing the Galaxy models. "In 2017, almost 50% of purchases of our top-of-the-line smartphones worldwide were made through Trade In in Samsung stores. This is in line with the new trend of updating devices more frequently and offering more options for users to access better prices", says Felipe González, phone product manager of Samsung Chile.
At the time of the transaction, a value associated with your current cellphone is taken, and in some cases, $100 is subtracted from the price. Thus, if you trade in an iPhone 7 Plus with 32GB, you will get the latest Samsung device for $359.
On the other hand, if you want to upgrade the Galaxy S8+, you can get the new cellphone at a final price of $259. Currently, this option can be used in Chile to recycle and buy at Samsung stores.
