Old Times Reunion
Like in the old times. Carles Puyol and Francesco Totti, idols of Barcelona and AS Roma respectively, met again on a playing field, although not precisely for football. The former players starred in a fun match on a paddle tennis court, which went viral on YouTube.
Prior to the match between Barcelona and Roma in the Champions League quarterfinals (4-1), these football legends played a game at the Real Club de Polo in Barcelona. Puyol knew that Totti is passionate about paddle tennis, so he arranged this surprise meeting, which included none other than the world's number one pair: Fernando Belasteguin-Pablo Lima.
'Bela', who has held the number one rank in this sport for 16 years, partnered with 'Il Capitano', while the Argentine played with Carles, and they had a great time.
After the fun match, the former footballers went to Camp Nou, where Puyol even paid tribute to Lionel Messi for his 100 goals in the Champions League, while Totti watched Barcelona's victory from the stands.
