PlayStation 4 to be Replaced by the PS5 Soon
PlayStation 4 still has a few years of life left, but details of the next console from Sony, the PS5, are already starting to emerge. Soon, companies will have the development kits in their hands so that the console can hit the market with new games.
But, while waiting for the official announcements, the website SemiAccurate has detailed the technical specifications of the PS5. The website accurately predicted the PS4 and now comments that Sony's new console will have an eight-core Zen processor from AMD.
It is also believed to have a 'Navi' architecture GPU and high-performance GDDR6 memory. The amount of memory has not been specified, but it is expected to be the fastest ever created for a home console.
SemiAccurate was one of the first to talk about the revisions of the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro consoles. We will still find out at this E3 if Sony is already working on the PS5, and logic dictates that it would hit the worldwide market in 2019 or early 2020. Until then, there is a lot of work for the company.
