On April 26, Marvel Avengers: Infinity War will be released, one of the most anticipated films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which will bring together almost all the heroes presented in the company's films so far.
Many expected that with Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, the X-Men would return in this film, but that was not the reality presented. There was still a long way to go to bring the mutants back to the MCU with new films.
Now, new information has shed light on a probable date for the first appearance of the X-Men in Marvel: 2021. According to the website Screen Rant, the US government will continue reviewing the legal papers of this purchase until 2019.

Apparently, this review by the US government is to prevent the creation of monopolies. After this period, in 2019, Fox and Disney will be able to work together, which would indicate that if they shoot a film that year, we will see the result two years later, in 2021, with an addition to the MCU.
