Gianluigi Donnarumma remains the undisputed number 1 of Milan, but can the goalkeeper maintain his NxGn title?

Last March, the Italy international finished at the top of the list of the 50 best players born from January 1, 1998 onwards, surpassing tough competition from Kylian Mbappé and Christian Pulisic.

The deadline has obviously been extended 12 months for this year's edition, so both Mbappé and Pulisic are excluded. However, Donnarumma, who just turned 19 on February 25, is still eligible, which gives him an excellent chance of retaining his crown.

In Italy, Juventus is delighted to see Moise Kean, who is on loan at Hellas Verona, continue to grow in the current season, while Pietro Pellegri was transferred for €25 million in January to Monaco from Genoa.

And what will happen to Vinicius Junior? The latest jewel to emerge in Brazil became the most expensive player in history at his age when Real Madrid agreed to pay €45 million to Flamengo for his services. And his excellent form with the red and blacks suggests it could be money well spent by the current Champions League champion.
