The boxer Floyd Mayweather
Floyd Mayweather is undoubtedly one of the wealthiest athletes in the world. In addition to his talent in the boxing ring, he is known for being a great investor. However, soccer is a field that he has not dared to venture into so far. Nevertheless, he does not rule out buying Newcastle and then signing Cristiano Ronaldo with a good business plan.
"I am always open to new business opportunities and I love all sports, but I invest with my head and not with my heart. However, if someone prepares a business plan for me, my team reviews it and tells me that I can make money, then I would invest. Soccer may not be my thing, but I have connections everywhere," Mayweather said to Star.
The boxer boasted about his friendship with Cristiano Ronaldo and his affection for Newcastle, so he did not rule out investing in the club in the future and then signing the Portuguese star.
"I love Newcastle... I met some of their players last year and they are good guys. Cristiano Ronaldo has been my friend for a long time, so I could make him end his career here," he said.
