One day before the anticipated return match between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, Unai Emery spoke at a press conference to the European media about everything related to this match. After losing 3-1 in the first leg at Santiago Bernabéu, the coach of the French team will seek to take a lead of at least two goals without conceding more than one goal to advance to the next stage of the tournament.

Regarding the possible absences of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in his opponent, Emery stated that he expects a complete Real Madrid and that whoever is placed on the field by Zinedine Zidane is important to them but in a secondary way. He also assured that his team can beat the best version of the 'Casa Blanca' and trusted that the replacement for the injured Neymar will be up to the task.

"I believe that now, whoever plays for Madrid, is important but secondary. The most relevant thing is that we do the things we want to do and that will decide a lot. It is true that I expect the best Madrid with their best players, but I know that my team is capable of beating them. When a player like Neymar is absent, it opens the door for another one and I know that whoever comes in will do it with all their speed and strength. Tomorrow everyone is important," he said.

On the other hand, when asked about the health status of forward Kylian Mbappé and defender Marquinhos, the Spanish coach revealed that both trained with the group and will arrive without any problem to this match. However, he could not say the same for Argentine Javier Pastore, who may miss this match.

"We still have one training session left, but Marquinhos and Marco Verratti trained with the group yesterday, as did Mbappé and Edinson Cavani. I hope Pastore does it today and, if so, everyone will be available except Neymar. Regarding Thiago Silva, it is difficult to choose between 3 center-backs because they are all in great form," he concluded.
