Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to offer Son Heung-min a new contract.
The South Korea international is approaching the final two years of his current deal which he signed in the summer of 2015 upon his arrival from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen and has since developed into a key player for the side.
Capable of playing on either flank or through the middle, the 25-year-old has netted 13 times across all competitions for the Lilywhites so far this season - only Harry Kane has scored more - and was on target twice during the 6-1 thrashing of Rochdale in an FA Cup fifth round replay earlier in the week.
Despite losing his place in the first-choice starting XI to Erik Lamela in recent weeks, Son remains a valuable assest to Mauricio Pochettino and it's understood that the north London outfit are preparing to reward the forward with a brand new deal.
According to the Evening Standard, Spurs are keen to offer Son improved terms on his reported £60,000 per week wage and talks are expected to take place between now and the end of the season.
Furthermore, the report states that Son isn't the only first-team star in line for a new contract.
The club are said to be keen on tying down playmaker Christian Eriksen - whose will have two years remaining on his deal come the summer - Lamela, midfielder Mousa Dembele and key defender Jan Vertonghen who are all contracted until the summer of 2019.
With three games coming up in the space of eight days that could well shape Spurs' season, Son will be hopeful of being involved heavily.
This afternoon - barring a drastic change in the weather - Huddersfield Town are the visitors to Wembley, while three days later sees the return leg of the Champions League round of 16 clash with Serie A giants Juventus at the national stadium.
They then round off the trio of fixtures against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium next Sunday afternoon.
