A curious confrontation was revealed this week in Bayern Munich's training. Matt Hummels and Robert Lewandowski had a not-so-friendly encounter in the middle of practice, because the Polish forward did not fulfill his defensive obligations.

It all happened when the German defender lost the ball and saw that Lewy was tying his shoes instead of helping him recover the ball. "Are you kidding me? Are you tying your shoes? Shit," the World Cup champion with Germany asked, according to Bild.

But the Polish player was unfazed and responded defiantly. "You lost that ball," replied the striker, who has been singled out by the German press for his desire to leave the Bavarian team, an option that could allow him to join Real Madrid or Manchester United, two of the interested parties.

Arturo Vidal's team comfortably leads the Bundesliga with a 19-point advantage over the second-placed Borussia Dortmund. This Sunday they can extend the difference when they visit Freiburg, thirteenth in the standings.

The demand will increase for Bayern Munich in March. After Freiburg, they will face Hamburg and Besiktas in the end of the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League (5-0 in the first leg), and then RB Leipzig before the FIFA date and Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, March 31.
