Barcelona will not be able to count on the full-back Nelson Semedo until early April after the Portuguese was diagnosed with a thigh injury, said the leader of the Spanish football league in a statement.

"The Club's Medical Services have confirmed that first-team player Nelson Semedo has an injury to the hamstring muscle in his left thigh. Medical tests indicated, furthermore, that the player will be out of action for about five weeks," Barcelona said in a statement.
Nelson Semedo will not be able to play the next league matches against Las Palmas, the second-placed Atlético de Madrid, Málaga and Athletic de Bilbao, nor the Champions League round of 16 second leg against Chelsea on March 14.
