The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) announced on Wednesday the departure of Brazilian winger Lucas Moura to Tottenham Hotspur "permanently".
In its statement, PSG did not detail the amount of the transfer, although the figures reported by the press were around 30 million euros.
"Lucas is a player that the Parisian fans will always hold dear," said PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi in a farewell message.
Lucas Moura, 25, was an important asset in the club in recent years, but this season he only made five appearances for PSG.
The winger could play in the Champions League with his new club, since he has not played a single minute this year with PSG in Europe.
Moura has been capped 34 times with the Brazilian national team, including appearances in the Copa América (2001 and 2016), the London 2012 Olympics, and the 2013 Confederations Cup, where the Canarinha were champions.
The Brazilian signed for PSG in 2013 for 40 million euros and has played in over 150 games for the Parisian club, in addition to winning four French League titles, three French Cups, four League Cups, and five French Super Cups. EFE
