The injury suffered by Leroy Sané in the FA Cup match
The winger Leroy Sané suffered an injury in the match between Manchester City and Cardiff City in the FA Cup. The reason? The strong tackle from defender Joe Bennett, nicknamed "the butcher of the FA Cup", on his shin. The foul quickly went viral on YouTube and even the German Football Federation showed concern for the condition of their player.

The incident occurred early in the second half. Sané received the ball on the attack when Bennett went to intercept him. The Cardiff City player lunged and made contact with the shin of Manchester City's forward. The referee showed a yellow card and the German player was replaced by Sergio Agüero.
Later, after the match, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was very angry and commented that players need to be protected and that Sané will probably be out for two or three weeks.

Even the German Football Federation showed concern for Leroy Sané's injury. "Hey Cardiff, just so you know. We have a very important tournament this summer (Russia 2018). Please, do not injure our players. Thank you."
