Infamous Gaming obtained the only spot in the South American qualifiers for the Jakarta Minor in Indonesia by defeating SG-eSports from Brazil 3-1 in the final. The Peruvian Dota 2 team, composed of Kotaro Hayama, Papita, Stinger, Socfield, and Accel, had previously lost to the Brazilians in the same tournament, which sent them to the lower bracket. There, they defeated fellow Peruvian team Mad Kings to face SG-eSports in the final.

Despite showing a lack of coordination in ganks and team fights in the first game, which led to their defeat, Infamous Gaming dominated in all areas of the map in the remaining three games of the series. They gained a significant advantage in experience and gold, securing the victory.

The Dota 2 event, which will take place in Indonesia, will start on March 15 and end on March 18. The teams that have already qualified are NAVI and Evil Geniuses, who received direct invitations.
