RAC 1, Catalan sports media, has confirmed that Yerry Mina is now a new Barcelona player and will be presented as a new defender for the club next Wednesday. This comes after the current leader of Spanish football confirmed the arrival of Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
"RAC1 breaks the news, Barcelona has signed Colombian center-back Yerry Mina. The club will pay 12 million euros to Palmeiras and the player is expected to be presented this Wednesday," the publication states.
The national team defender is expected to arrive on Monday for medical tests and subsequently sign with the club. Initially, Barcelona would pay nine million euros for Mina, with an additional three million in variables.
