Arsenal vs Liverpool

English giants of the past meet in historically entertaining fixture promising goals
Team news
Aaron Ramsey is still out and that should see a continued partnership of Granit Xhaka and Jack Wilshere at the base of a left-footed midfield for Arsenal. Olivier Giroud is also out after picking up a hamstring problem in the Carabao Cup. Liverpool face a number of defensive problems; Nathaniel Clyne hasn’t played all season, Alberto Moreno has an ankle knock and commanding centre back Joel Matip is out with a thigh injury. Perennial injury-sufferer Daniel Sturridge is a doubt with a thigh problem.
Form
Arsenal have been inconsistent and goal-shy of late, but they have also produced outstanding attacking displays (especially against Man United) that saw them fail to convert numerous chances. They are, though, unbeaten in five and lie fifth in the table, a point behind Liverpool who are unbeaten in 12. They’ve won eight of those and will probably feel they should have won all twelve. Klopp’s men have scored 36 goals in that run, but have drawn two of their last three (against Everton and West Brom.)
