In the last round of Group F of the Champions League, Peruvian Renato Tapia started in the Feyenboord vs Napoli match. The Dutch team defeated the Italians 2-1 in a frenetic game from start to finish played at the Stadion Feijenoord in Rotterdam. The Peruvian played the entire 90 minutes.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's team found the net with a play down the wing by Steven Berghuis, who crossed for the star of Rotterdam, Danish international Nicolai Jorgensen, to score with a header, beating Pepe Reina. At the same time, the result in Ukraine was 2-0 in favor of Shakhtar Donetsk.
With the score tied and no changes at halftime, Feyenoord became more daring in the second half and sought the Italians' goal more confidently. As time went on without Manchester narrowing the gap with the Ukrainians in the other Group F match, Napoli's chance of advancing became increasingly difficult.
Already in injury time, the Italians saw Jerry St. Juste, a defender who had come on minutes earlier to replace the injured Bart Nieuwkoop, score a header from the edge of the six-yard box to give Feyenoord all three points from a corner kick.
Napoli finished third in Group F and will therefore play in the next phase of the Europa League, the second continental competition. Meanwhile, the Dutch team, who had lost all their Champions League matches up to that point, achieved a sweet victory in their last match and in front of their fans.
