One of the most touching stories generated after the September 19th earthquake was that of the Flores Mora family, who lost their little son, Santiago Flores, in the collapse of the Enrique Rébsamen School and this Tuesday they fulfilled the dream of the child: meeting Cristiano Ronaldo.
Santiago, 7 years old, was a faithful fan of the Real Madrid player. After his death, his mother shared a letter dedicated to the current Ballon d'Or winner on social media, which went viral and reached the hands of the Portuguese star.

Upon learning of this, the Real Madrid star gave the Santiago's family a signed jersey and also dedicated some words of support through a video. However, these events did not end there.
At this moment of pain, I send a big hug to Santiago's family and to all the families who have lost their loved ones.

Now, the Flores Mora family fulfilled the dream that their little one so longed for: meeting Cristiano Ronaldo.
The father, mother, and brother of Santiago traveled - with the support of the merengue club and the government of Mexico City - to Madrid, Spain, where they spent time with the two-time winner of The Best award. They also toured the field and locker rooms of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium with an urn containing the ashes of their little one.
