The Argentinian Diego Maradona went to the London stadium of Wembley to witness live the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, a clash that closes the ninth round of the Premier League.
Diego Maradona, 56, attended the iconic stadium, located in the north of the British capital, wearing a navy blue and white scarf, the traditional colors of Tottenham Hotspur, a team coached by his compatriot Mauricio Pochettino.
The '10' was accompanied by another Argentine, Ossie Ardiles, former albiceleste international and legend of the 'Spur' team.
As a player, Diego Maradona only set foot on the Wembley turf once, in a friendly international match in May 1980, when he was 19 years old, in a duel in which Argentina succumbed 3-1 to England.
