Jonathan Paredes and Adriana Jimenez miss podium in Mostar and their career in the search for the title in the 2017 Red Bull CliffDiving season is in danger.

One week before this sports year ends, the Mexicans are in second place overall and need great performances to be able to be crowned.

In the fifth and penultimate stop, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the pair finished far from the top three positions. In the men's category, Jonathan finished in sixth place with 363.30 points, surpassed by the British diver Gary Hunt (400.90), who took the gold in this fifth stage.

In the women's category, Adriana Jiménez finished in fourth place with 275.50 points, while the American diver Cesilie Carlton won this stage with 316.40 points.

Jonathan Paredes has 520 points in the overall standings - 140 points less than Hunt, who remains the leader - while Adriana Jiménez, who has 630 points, has a less complicated outlook as she is surpassed by the Australian diver Rhiannan Iffland by only 60 points (690).

The final stage will be held on October 21st in Lago Ranco, Chile.
