Chelsea vs Arsenal – Pre-match
The Premier League returns this Friday, practically without rest after the Champions League and Europa League matches, with the London derby between Chelsea and Arsenal as the star match of the fifth round.
Stamford Bridge will be the venue for the duel on Sunday (12:30 GMT); a match that the 'Blues' arrive fresher for, as they played on Tuesday in the Champions League (against Qarabag), while their neighbors played on Thursday (against Cologne).
The southwest Londoners will seek their fourth consecutive victory in a derby that, in the league, Arsenal has not won since 2011. However, the last two matches have gone in favor of Arsene Wenger's side, who won the FA Cup final and the Community Shield.
The only notable absence for Antonio Conte is midfielder Danny Drinkwater, who continues to be sidelined with a thigh injury. On the other hand, the 'Gunners' will be without long-term injured player Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin, who came off with discomfort last weekend against Bournemouth.
