The Barcelona debuted this Tuesday with a victory in the Champions League against Juventus (3-0), in a game in which the Argentine Lionel Messi, author of two goals, showed his best version with a football exhibition.
The Argentine star scored 1-0 in the first half (min.45) and after the restart he sealed the match creating the play that originated the second goal, by Rakitic (min.56), and scoring the third (min.69) with a powerful left-footed shot.
Until the end, Barcelona reserved its forces. Sergi Roberto, Paulinho and André Gomes entered for Dembele, Rakitic and Iniesta. Luis Suarez could have increased the difference, but his goal was disallowed (min.79) due to a previous offside by Alba.
Valverde's new project is going full steam ahead and Messi is the captain, scoring eight of the thirteen goals scored by the team since the start of the season. Also, neither in the league (9-0) nor in the Champions League (3-0) has Ter Stegen had to remove the ball from his goal.
