VIDEO. The goal scored by Croatian Mario Mandzukic in the Champions League final between Juventus and Real Madrid has been chosen as the best goal of the season by the fans who voted through the UEFA website.

Mario Mandzukic's bicycle kick meant a provisional 1-1 in the match, played in Cardiff, which ended with a 4-1 victory for Real Madrid.

Mario Mandzukic's goal received 26 percent of the votes and surpassed by just one point the one scored by Senegalese forward Mousa Sow for Fenerbahce against Manchester United.

The goal by Brazilian midfielder Casemiro from Real Madrid against Napoli in the Champions League received 20 percent of the votes, and Marco Asensio's goal with the Spanish U-21 national team against Macedonia in the European tournament received 11 percent.

Jordi Mboula's goal, with which the former Barcelona player completed a slalom against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League youth, finished in fifth place with 8 percent, ahead of Austrian Kevin Friesenbichler's goal against Astra in the Europa League (6%) and Italian Daniela Sabatino's goal against Sweden in the women's European Championship in July (4%).
