The German club Borussia Dortmund announced the signing of Ukrainian international Andrey Yarmolenko for four years, coming from Dynamo Kiev, who arrives as the replacement for Ousmane Dembélé.
This is the latest move in the summer transfer market linked to Neymar's departure from FC Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, which has also triggered the departure of French international Dembélé from Borussia Dortmund to Barcelona.
Yarmolenko, 27, is a 1.89-meter tall forward who has been named "Player of the Year" in Ukraine in 2013, 2014, and 2015 consecutively.
The Ukrainian athlete, who will wear the number 9 at Dortmund, is "fast", "ingenious" and has "danger of scoring", highlighted the Bundesliga's yellow team in a statement.
"Andrey is a player we have been following for some time and who is performing at a high level both in his club and the national team," said Michael Zorc, Dortmund's sporting director.
Yarmolenko, meanwhile, expressed his satisfaction for the realization of his "dream" of jumping to "a great European team" and ready to help the German club "achieve its highest goals".
The Ukrainian footballer has scored 137 goals in the 337 matches he has played with Dynamo Kiev and 67 goals in official matches with his national team.
