Barcelona: FC Barcelona player Lucas Digne helped victims after terrorist attack

Barcelona experienced horror on August 17th after being the target of a terrorist attack, but it also revealed stories of anonymous heroes who rushed to help the injured that were lying on the streets just moments after a van plowed into a crowd in Las Ramblas.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Lucas Digne, a player for FC Barcelona, was one of many volunteers who went to the scene to provide first aid, as the French defender lives nearby where the attack took place.

As reported, Lucas came down from his home with towels and water to assist the injured, applying tourniquets to those who were bleeding from their wounds.

The defender refrains from talking about the issue as he does not consider himself a hero and believes he acted like anyone else would have in his position.

The attacks in the Catalan City resulted in a total of 15 deaths and dozens of injuries.
